Tune Talk is the largest mobile prepaid MVNO service provider in Malaysia. Tune Talk Sdn. Bhd. officially launched its commercial service on 19 August 2009, its aim as a prepaid service provider to offer low, flat-calling rates and incentives to what was an under-served segment of the market. Tune Talk rolled out as a prepaid service with the target to offer easy accessibility and a wide distribution reach for its products. Tune Talk operates as a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) riding on the network of Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad. Tune Talk entered into an MVNO agreement with Celcom in December 2008. As the largest MVNO in Malaysia, the company has a business model that allows it to focus on its products, marketing and customer service, as it does not have any costs associated with building or maintaining a full cellular network. Hence an MVNO like Tune Talk can keep its capital investments low to pass on lower rates to subscribers and focus on improving customer service. Tune Talk offers subscribers full roaming through Celcom’s roaming arrangements. Tune Talk's business model emphasises customer care service and customer experience. It has an in-house customer care department and social media team. Works are underway to enter into MVNO deals with network operators in Singapore, Indonesian, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar and the Philippines between 2010 up to 2013.
